The Azerbaijan Society of Nephrologists is a non-governmental organization whose main goal is to support the development of the field of nephrology and the improvement of the professional skills of nephrologists.
In order to achieve its goals, the Azerbaijan Society of Nephrologists carries out the following tasks: to promote the measures taken by the state in the field of health development and protection of the population's health; to educate the population about kidney diseases and their causes; to organize scientific research on the subject of nephrology, and to improve the knowledge and skills of the members of the association.
To implement these tasks, the Azerbaijan Society of Nephrologists cooperates with relevant state and municipal bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and international organizations; establishes contacts with various non-governmental organizations, regional and international organizations operating in the country and foreign countries and implements projects with them; conducts scientific research, organizes various courses and seminars, round tables and meetings, exhibitions; and establishes printed publications.
